Le nouvel album de R.E.M. est absolument génial. Tout à fait dans l'esprit de leur début: leur meilleur album depuis 'Green'. Tom Dunne on Today FM (one of my favourite music DJ) seems to really like it too.
Thomas Dutronc, qui me rappelle un peu Thomas Fersen.

I recommend and adore the following films. Une recommendation pour ces films que j'adore:

"Amelie" - "Le fabuleux destion d'Amélie Poulain". I really like the filming angles and the colour schemes of Jeunet's movies. J'adore les prises de vue et les couleurs des films de Jeunet. Celui-ci a un scenario original dont je ne me lasse pas.
"Night on Earth" - "Une nuit sur terre" (Jarmush) Featuring/avec Roberto Benigni
"Until the end of the world" - "Jusqu'au bout du monde" (Wenders, soundtrack sounds best in Australia).
Brazil. (I am actually looking for the soundtrack that might feature a Kate Bush song)
Star Wars
Wallace and Gromit. Nick Park is the best animation guy out there. The scenarios of the Wrong Trousers is so brilliant. And best, no computer, simply hand made animations. Nick Park est le meilleur type pour les animations. Le scenario du Mauvais Pantalon est délirant. Pas d'ordinateurs, juste de l'excellente animation.
Most Alan Parker's movies. I love the Commitments (I suppose Roddy Doyle should be credited for the excellent novel). Here are a couple of my favourite bits:
- It's not ride Sally ride, it's ride, Sally, ride (pronounce this with an Irish accent, north Dublin for the first part of the sentence)
- "I play when a man loves a woman by Marvin Gaye". "Percy Sledge, it's not Marvin Gaye, it's Percy Sledge" says the priest
  - This is where I got the idea for my sister in law to play "paint it black" on the organ during my wedding ceremony. I always wondered if the priest recognised the tune.
