ENGLISH
How many businesses have used their blog to capitalise on the recent events that shook Société Générale, the French bank and the US ?
- If you're an IT company, you could show off your security skills protecting computers.
- If you are a software company, you could promote the security features that prevent those things from happening with your package.
- If you are a business consultant or an auditor, this is a good case for segregation of duties.
- If you sell investment products such as properties, you could reassure that it is safer to invest in properties (I am not saying it is the case, just passing a marketing thought) rather than the stock market.
- If you sell good stock investment products (it may be rare, but there are investment banks following good investment practices such as those tought by Rory Gillen - Invest Like The Best).
- If you provide human resources consultancy services, you could preach the benefits of having good advice on staff management.
So, I am going to use Mr Jerome Kerviel's problems to promote my blog. I'll keep you posted to see how much traffic comes here with those keywords. Since this is a French story, I'll keep this in English as most foreign search probably lacks english content with these keywords.
